The FATE Foundation started FSP (FATE Scholar Programmme) in order to support and empower innovative and entrepreneurial Nigerian students pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fields at any Nigerian accredited public tertiary institution.
About FATE Foundation
FATE Foundation is a non-profit organization established by Fola Adeola in 2000 to foster the strong entrepreneurial culture of Nigerians particularly youth and providing the knowledge and support required to fully explore their innovative potential. They aim to:
- Increase the access of small-scale industrial and other enterprises, in particular in Nigeria to financial services, including affordable credit, and their integration into value chains and markets.
- Eliminate gender disparity in education and substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship.
- Promote development-oriented policies that support productive activities, decent job creation, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and encourage the formalization and growth of MSMEs including through access to financial services.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:
- Nigerian Citizen.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.
- Applicants must not be more than 21 years at the time of application.
- Planning to study an undergraduate STEAM course in an accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
