Lafarge technical skills development program (TSDP)

Lafarge technical skills development program (TSDP) is an 18 month technical intensive training scheme in which successful candidates will enjoy tuition-free lectures, rigorous hands-on sessions, and a token allowance to offset out-of-pocket expenses. The program is hosted by Lafarge Africa Plc – a public construction services company, and will consist of the following technical disciplines:

Maintenance Processes I.e. Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation and Automation /Welding and Fabrication Technology.
Cement Manufacturing Processes I.e. Production / Process and Quality.

TSDP is a program that is designed to train and equip successful candidates with the skills and attitude to be self-employed/employable in the vocational areas listed above. Finally, at the end of the programme, each candidate will be issued the Lafarge Internal Certificate.

The Lafarge Technical Skills Development Training will be conducted in Nigeria within these three locations:

Ewekoro, Ogun State
Mfamosing, Cross River State
Ashaka, Gombe State

Eligbility

Only applicants who meet the following criteria will be considered for this program:

Completion of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 O-Level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any other subject (in no more than 2 sittings).
