The Lamber Goodnow Injury Law Team awards several academic scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in a range of programs and schools. They want to know how applicants are driven to innovate, how they plan to influence progress on any level in any space or how they have already affected positive change with creative thinking.
They choose finalists whose essays may be posted on our website social media accounts. One individual will be awarded a $1,000 for each scholarship opportunity listed.
Requirements
The general requirements for all scholarships are as follows:
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Essay submission must be received by December 1, each year.
- A 500 to 750 word essay.
You will need to submit the additional information with the essay:
- Your name, email address and phone number on your essay.
- Attachment of your most recent school transcript.
- Your resume or proof of enrollment is optional.

Scholarships offered
Below are the list of annual scholarships offered by the Lamber Goodnow Injury Law Team with their own individual criteria
- College Scholarship – Two for $1,000 each
- Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited high school, college or university.
Please note that all types of colleges, including four-year, community colleges and “junior colleges” qualify for eligibility.
- Applicants must write about how driven they are to innovate, how they plan to influence progress on any level in any space or how they’ve already affected positive change with creative thinking.
2. Nursing Scholarship – One for $1,000
- Applicants must either be applying to a nursing program for enrollment the following year or currently enrolled in a nursing program that you will continue to be enrolled in through the following academic year.
- Applicants must write about what drives them and why they want to pursue a nursing degree or why they want to go to nursing school.
3. Law School Scholarship – One for $1,000
- Applicants must either be applying to law school for enrollment the following year or currently be enrolled in law school and will continue to be enrolled in law school through the following academic year.
- Applications should write about what drives them and why they want to pursue a law degree or why they want to go to law school. Explain what motivates you.
4. Medical School Scholarship – One for $1,000
- Applicants must either be applying to medical school for enrollment the following academic year or currently be enrolled in medical school and will remain enrolled in medical school through the following academic year.
- Applicants must write about what drives them and why they want to pursue a medical degree or why they wish to go to medical school.
5. Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist Scholarship – One for $1,000
- Applicants must either be applying for a physical therapy or occupational therapy academic program for enrollment the following year or currently be enrolled in this type of program and remain enrolled through the following academic year.
- Applicants must write about what drives them and why they want to pursue a career as a physical therapist or occupational therapist.
6. Summer College Scholarship – One for $1000
All information contained in the “College Scholarship” above applies, except the application deadline is July 31. The Summer College Scholarship is given annually.
7. Summer Law School Scholarship – One for $1000
All information contained in the “Law School Scholarship”, above, applies, except the application deadline is July 31. As with other scholarship programs, the Summer Law School Scholarship is given annually.
