MPOWER Financing, PBC is a financial technology company that provides educational loans and scholarships to international students pursuing higher education in the United States and Canada. They offer a good variety of scholarships, in order to support future leaders and help as many students as possible.
About MPOWER Financing
MPOWER was founded in 2014 by Manu Smadja and Mike Davis, two former international students with a shared dream: to remove the financial obstacles students often face when pursuing an international education. To do this, they would make loans based on a student’s future potential, not their past. Since then, MPOWER Financing is proud to have helped thousands of students achieve their dream of studying abroad.

MPOWER Financing’s mission
MPOWER Financing aims to democratize access to higher education and offer financing solutions to students who might not be eligible for traditional loans due to their international status, lack of credit history or lack of cosigner. Through it’s innovative lending model, MPOWER Financing has assisted thousands of students in achieving their educational goals.
Scholarship requirements
For applicants to be eligible, they will need to meet these general requirements:
- Accepted or enrolled in a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports.
- An international student or DACA student permitted to legally study in the U.S. or Canada.
- Able to meet any additional criteria outlined for specific scholarships.
Application deadline
The application process and deadline is specific to each scholarship, but here is the list of some of their ongoing scholarships:

Deadline: At the end of each month.
