Requirements for the Ogoni scholarship

To qualify for the Ogoni Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Ogoni Heritage: Must be an Ogoni student studying in any approved tertiary institution.
  • Academic Standing: Must be in their 200 Level/ND II or Final Year for the 2023/2024 academic session.
  • Academic Performance: Must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 5-point scale or 2.4 on a 4-point scale.
  • Bank Verification: Must possess a BVN compliant account without any maximum amount restriction.
  • Non-Beneficiary of Other Scholarships: Applicants who are already benefiting from other scholarships, such as those from the Oil and Gas sector, are not eligible.
  • Institutional Approval: Must have a valid admission letter from an NUC-recognized university, polytechnic, monotechnic, or college of education.
  • Full-Time Students: Part-time students are not eligible for the scholarship.

  • Passport photograph with a white background
  • Admission letter from an approved institution
