VSBfonds annually awards scholarships to students who wish to do a complete study programme abroad, after they have finished their study programme at Radboud University.
About VSBfonds
VSBfonds is one of the biggest charity foundation based in Dutch created in 1990. They work closely with 37 colleges and universities to support socially involved students who want to further develop their ambition to gain knowledge and experience abroad. They bring knowledge and experience back to the Netherlands and enrich not only themselves, but also our society.
Scholarship amount
The VSBfonds awards up to €10,000 but that amount is only paid to students who are going to study for 2 academic years. For all other studies and programs, a maximum of €7,000 applies.
Eligiblity
Applicants who wish to apply, must meet the following requirements:
- Full-time student graduating as Bachelor or Master
- Graduation date should be between 1 March 2023 and 31 December 2025
- You are extremely motivated and can show a strong engagement in society, which is more important than your grades
- Dutch nationality
Application procedure
Applicants personally choose the educational institute abroad and arrange your admission. The educational institute where you will study must be accredited by that country’s government. If that is not the case, you must demonstrate that the quality of the institute and study programme you have chosen meet the Dutch standards for higher education.
Application is done online through a form which will be provided in their website towards the end the of November 2024.
Note: Applicants should make a note in their schedule that they might have to be present for an interview of a maximum of one hour. Exact date will be announced later (and if necessary there will be a second day of interviews).
