Trinity College Dublin: Annual scholarship for Japanese

Trinity College Dublin annually gives out scholarships for students – regardless of their nationality, who are studying in a Japanese high school and will pay non-EU tuition fees. This scholarship is for international foundation programme and applicants for it will be assessed based on academic achievement, and evaluation of their potential to contribute to the overall TCD (Trinity College Dublin) community.

Trinity College Dublin is one of Ireland’s oldest and leading universities, located on College Green in Dublin. It’s famous for it’s beautiful campus and high quality education. The college offers a wide range of courses for all level of study for students all around the globe.

Scholarship value

The scholarships are £5,000 each applied as a reduction of the tuition fees of the International foundation Programme.

  1. Cover letter outlining your full name
  2. Application number (assigned when application is submitted – IFPXXX)
  3. Name of programme you have applied for at Trinity College Dublin
  4. CV/Resume
  5. 200 word statement on “how I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community.” (submit in Microsoft word document or pdf format)
Application deadline

Closing date for the International Foundation Scholarship for Japanese students applications is 31st of March 2025.

Applications are done via an online portal found in the Trinity College Dublin scholarship website.
