University of Lincoln’s Annual Africa scholarship

The University of Lincoln’s Africa Scholarship is designed to help students from across Africa to access postgraduate level study at the University of Lincoln. The Africa Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in the 2024/25 and 2025/26 academic years.

Scholarship amount

The scholarship amount ranges from £5,000 to £3,000 depending on the applicant’s country of residence.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following conditions in order to be eligible to receive the Africa Scholarship:

  1. Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2024 or January 2025.
  2. Have completed a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent qualification that leads to postgraduate study) from a recognised institution.
  3. Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Africa (excluding Egypt).
  4. Have obtained a minimum of a 2:1 classification (or an equivalent
