The MTN Yellopreneur initiative is a flagship programme under the MTN Foundation focused on capacity building and access to capital for female entrepreneurs. Since its launch, it has trained thousands of women in business management and supported them with funding opportunities to expand their ventures.
Grant details
Selected participants will be receiving:
- Entrepreneurship training and capacity building
- Access to startup funding and equipment loans (up to ₦3 million)
- Business advisory and mentorship support
- Opportunity to receive grants after loan repayment
- Access to a network of entrepreneurs and business opportunities
Eligibility
To be eligible for the MTN Yellopreneur Grant, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian woman
- Have interest in entrepreneurship or run a business
- Be willing to participate in and complete the training programme
How to apply
MTN Yellopreneur grant stages
The grant is delivered in five different stages:
- Stage 1: Entrepreneurial skills training for 1000 female entrepreneurs
- Stage 2: Development and Presentation of Bankable Business plan
- Stage 3: Equipment loan support of up to 3 million naira each for 250 female entrepreneurs
- Stage 4: Business advisory support services
- Stage 5: Seamless loan repayment processes to ensure project sustainability.
