Annual Jericho Businessmen Club Scholarship Scheme

Jericho Businessmen Club (JBC) is an association of professional businessmen of Ibadan origin who has distinguished themselves in their various callings. In pursuance of it’s objectives for the development of Ibadan land, the club invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to apply for the fully funded annual JBC scholarship scheme. Additionally, the club mentors scholarship recipients to guide their career paths and provide a professional network after graduation.

Jericho Businessmen Club

The JBC Scholarship Scheme was established in October 2006, and a committee was inaugurated to actualize the objectives of the club in this regard. Since the establishment of the Jericho Businessmen Club (JBC), it has become imperative to give to society and help those with genuine needs has become one of the focuses of the Jericho Businessmen Club.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Be a native of Ibadan, confirmed by a letter from your Local Government Chairman or a similar authority
  • Be enrolled in a Nigerian university or polytechnic
  • Be in good academic standing:
    • At least a second class upper (2:1) for university students
    • At least an upper credit for polytechnic students
  • Academic transcripts are needed for those already in Year 2 or above

Required documents

To apply for the JBC scholarship, students must submit the following materials online at the designated scholarship portal:

  • Letter of Application
  • Passport Photograph
  • Admission letter or any evidence of school registration
  • Certificate of indigene from your local government
  • Student ID card showing matriculation number
  • Academic Transcript for Candidate already in year 2 and above.

The 2025 deadline has passed. Interested applicants can apply the following year at Jericho Businessmen Club.
