The Bode Amao Foundation annual scholarship is a fully funded program aimed at supporting academically outstanding but financially disadvantaged Nigerian undergraduates. The scholarship is open to students from 200 level and above in accredited universities. The scholarship covers full tuition and provides an annual stipend to assist with living expenses.The program’s goal is to empower bright students to complete their education, promote social mobility, and nurture future leaders across Nigeria.
About the foundation
Bode Amao Foundation (BAF) is a Nigerian non‑profit organisation established in 2002 by Chief Bode Amao, with the goal of supporting academically talented students across Nigeria. BAF runs a scholarship program that provides full tuition coverage and an annual stipend for eligible undergraduate students, as long as they maintain high academic performance and remain registered in a recognised tertiary institution. Beyond scholarships the foundation also reflects Amao’s philanthropic legacy of giving back to the community and promoting education as a tool for social mobility and national development.
Scholarship benefits
The Bode Amao Foundation scholarship offers a full scholarship for selected applicants as well as an amount of N100,000 per year until graduation.
Note: The award is per academic session and is active throughout the course of study as long as high acedemic execellence must be maintained.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship students must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be at least at the 200 level of their course of study at the time of completing the forms.
- Attain high academic excellence with CGPA as the determinant factor.
- The registrar of their respective universities must certify the candidates are truly indigent.
