The MTN ICT and business skills training is a five week capacity building initiative by the MTN Foundation designed to equip young Nigerian female microbusiness owners with the digital and business skills needed to grow their enterprises. The program will train 3,000 women across six states, with a focus on improving participants’ digital literacy, business management, financial skills, and ability to use technology to run and expand their businesses. Through practical training and hands-on learning participants will gain useful skills they can apply to their day-to-day business operations, strengthen their decision making, reach more customers, and build more sustainable businesses in an increasingly digital economy.
The MTN ICT and business skills training program combines self-paced online modules, instructor-led sessions, masterclasses from experienced entrepreneurs, a capstone project challenge, and data support helping participants apply new digital and business skills directly to their existing businesses.

Eligibility
Eligibility criteria:
- Nigerian female
- Aged 28 to 35
- Own and manages a microbusiness operating for no more than 2 years
- Business located in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano, or Gombe State
