NUS: Lee Kuan Yew scholarship

The National University of Singapore is offering the Lee Kuan Yew scholarship for Singaporean, permanent-resident, and international PhD students. This 4 year scholarship offered by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at NUS provides advanced training in policy research, analytical methods, and the study of complex public policy issues. The scholarship program prepares graduates for careers in academia, governments, international organisations, and NGOs. Scholarship support can cover tuition fees, medical insurance, examination and other approved fees, as well as a monthly stipend, book and settling-in allowances, and travel support.

Selected scholars will recieve the following:

1. Full tuition funding
2. Monthly stipend of $3,300 for international PhD students
3. No IELTS required

Eligibility

Eligibility criteria:

1. Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, or International Students
2. Intending to pursue a graduate programme at LKYSPP
3. Relevant Master’s degree
4. At least 2 years of work experience
5. Academic background in social science with a strong interest in international affairs
