University of New Brunswick research scholarship with Zimmer lab

The University of New Brunswick research scholarship offers research based MSc and PhD opportunities in Biology, at its Saint John campus – including research under Dr. Alex Zimmer. Relevant fields include; fish physiology, environmental biology, and aquatic ecosystems. Students can investigate topics including the effects of environmental stressors, habitat degradation, pollution, low oxygen, effluents, and rising temperatures on aquatic systems and fish physiology. The programme provides access to research facilities and collaboration with the Canadian Rivers institute, which houses specialized laboratories and fish husbandry facilities for freshwater and marine research.
