The Zayna Shaw Foundation STEM Scholarship is an opportunity for Nigerian female undergraduate students from South-West Nigeria studying Chemical Engineering, designed to help them stay focused on their studies through financial backing paired with long term mentorship. This is the flagship program of the Zayna Shaw Foundation’s inaugural Phase 1 intake – pairing each selected scholar with a “partner in progress” which is an experienced academic or industry mentor guiding them from campus into their engineering career.

The Zayna Shaw Foundation is a Nigerian non-profit organization focused on unlocking potential through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, with a particular emphasis on advancing women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Eligibility
Requirements to be eligible:
- Female Nigerian citizen (a valid proof will be required)
- Indigene of a South-West Nigerian state
- Enrolled full-time in a recognized Federal or State university
- Minimum CGPA of 4.0/5.0 (or equivalent)
- Studying Chemical Engineering, in 2nd to 5th year
- Completed at least one academic year
How to apply
Submit a valid student ID and identification (NIN or passport), latest transcript, a reference letter from a university professor, and a personal statement of no more than 500 words on your choice of Engineering, how the scholarship supports your journey, and your vision as a future engineer.
