The BAS graduate trainee program is an initiative by the BAS group designed as an entry pathway for young professionals to build practical experience within a fast growing financial ecosystem. BAS group is an integrated financial services and technology company headquartered in Abuja, offering solutions across investment banking, wealth management, insurance, healthcare, and technology, all aimed at improving financial inclusion and supporting businesses and individuals across Nigeria and Africa. The aim of the trainee program is to groom high potential graduates into well rounded professionals who can drive innovation, deliver client-focused solutions, and grow into future leaders within the BAS Group ecosystem.

Some of the key responsibilites that selected trainees will carry out include:

  1. Participate in structured training and rotational assignments across key business units
  2. Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports to support decision-making
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic and operational projects
  4. Contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and drive business growth
  5. Demonstrate leadership potential through project ownership and teamwork

Eligibility

Interested graduates must meet the following requirements in order to apply:

  1. Minimum of first class or second class upper (2:1)
  2. 0–2 years of corporate experience
  3. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  4. Demonstrated leadership potential and a passion for excellence
