Bridge scholarship

The Bridge scholarship offers financial support to undergraduate students enrolled in public universities across Nigeria. The scholarship is aimed at students facing significant financial challenges and is designed to help them continue their education without the burden of financial difficulties.

Over the past five years, the Bridge Foundation has supported 121 scholars and celebrated 32 graduates, providing students with the opportunity to stay in school, complete their degrees, and work towards their long-term goals.

Scholars will recieve the following:

  1. Full financial support covering tuition
  2. Mentorship and career development opportunities
  3. Ongoing support through graduation and into early career

Eligibility

Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Fully enrolled in a public university in Nigeria
  2. Currently in Year 1 through the penultimate year of degree program
  3. Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.5/5.0
  4. Demonstrated critical financial need
  5. Strong commitment to completing a Bachelor’s degree
  6. Integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
  7. Active in curricular or community service activities

How to apply

Apply online via the Bridge Scholarship application portal, submitting a CV, motivation/personal statement (max 500 words), WAEC/NECO and JAMB results, admission letter, academic record, three recommendation letters, and valid photo ID.

Application deadline

The application deadline is on September 12, 2026.
