At Swinburne, we welcome international students to study at our university here in the incredibly diverse and cosmopolitan city of Melbourne, Australia. Applying for university can be confusing at times, but we aim to make it as easy as possible.
Eligibility
To be eligible for an international scholarship, you must:
- satisfy any course or scholarship-specific entry requirements.
- not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from Swinburne.
- be an international student (citizens of Australia or New Zealand and permanent residents of Australia are not eligible).
Further criteria may apply to some scholarships.
Application process
When you apply for a Swinburne course, you are automatically consider you for an international scholarship, no separate application required. Just apply for your Swinburne course of choice and when we review your course application, you will also be assessed for an international scholarship. If your application for study is successful, you will receive an email. In that same email, you will find out if you have received an international scholarship.
If you receive a performance-based scholarship, you will be required to maintain a 75 per cent study load. High achievers on the top-level scholarships will be required to maintain a certain level of academic success. For more details, please refer to your offer letter.
