The University of Pisa is offering fully funded DSU (Diritto allo Studio Universitario) scholarships for domestic and international students pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, funded by the DSU Toscana regional agency.About the programFounded in 1343, the University of Pisa is one of Italy’s oldest and most prestigious universities.
To apply for the DSU scholarship, you must first secure an admission offer from the university, then submit the scholarship application separately.
Scholarship benefits
The scholarship includes the following:
- Full exemption from university tuition fees
- Annual stipend of โฌ7,200
- Free accommodation (or a housing payment if space is unavailable)
- Free meals at university dining halls
- Additional merit-based grants available in the first year (up to โฌ6,000)
Eligibility
To be considered for the scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Open to students of all nationalities
- Must be planning to enroll, or already enrolled, in a degree program at the University of Pisa
- No IELTS or TOEFL required
- Documents must be submitted translated into Italian and legalized according to international provisions
How to apply
Submit the online application via the Sportello Studente portal, attaching all required documents โ this can be done even before you’re officially enrolled as a Pisa student.
