Koç University is now accepting applications from international students who wish to begin their studies in Turkey in Fall 2025. Koç University – One of the top 3 highest ranking universities in Turkey, prides itself in offering scholarship packages for high-caliber international and domestic undergraduate and graduate students that meet it’s selective admissions criteria. They automatically offer a 100% tuition fee waiver scholarship to deserving students who are enrolled in one of their programs. The scholarship is divided into three categories:
- Graduate School of Sciences and Engineering (MS Thesis and Ph.D.)
- Graduate School of Social Sciences and Humanities (MS Thesis and Ph.D.)
- Graduate School of Business (Ph.D.)
Scholarship benefit
For Masters with thesis students:
- Tuition waiver
- Monthly stipend of 3.000 – 4000 TL
- Travel support (At yearly determined fixed amount) to attend scientific events
- Private health insurance
For PhD students:
- Tuition waiver
- Monthly stipend of 6,000 – 8,000 TL ($6,034)
- Free HGS (Fast Transit Pass) car stickers for campus entrance
- Meal Card
- Free furnished housing nearby campus
- Travel support (once a year, at yearly determined fixed amount) to attend scientific events
- Private health insurance
How to apply
Eligible applicants are to apply directly to the programme at the Koc university before it’s specific deadline as there are no specific forms for the scholarship. Applicants should be prepared with the following documents to provide during the application process:
- University diploma(s)
- CV
- Statement of Purpose (SoP)
- English language proficiency test results (only TOEFL IBT is accepted and with a score of 80 IBT or higher, IELTS is not accepted in Turkey)
- GRE or GMAT test scores (see specific program website for minimum score requirements as relevant)
- University transcripts (see specific program website for minimum GPA requirements as relevant)
- Referee contact details (2 for Master and 3 for Ph.D. programs)
