The MTN Foundation, in partnership with the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON), has opened applications for the 21st cohort of the MUSON Music Scholars Programme, offering talented young Nigerians a fully funded, internationally recognized Diploma in Music at the MUSON School of Music in Lagos.
Since its launch in 2006, the programme has provided professional, conservatoire-standard music training over a full-time, two-year diploma course, with majors available in instruments such as Piano, Violin, Cello, Flute, Trumpet, Classical Guitar, and Voice.
Scholarship benefits
Winners of the scholarship can expect:
- Full tuition coverage for the two-year diploma
- Coverage of books and approved course-related expenses
Eligibility
Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Nigerian citizens aged 18โ35GCE O’Level or SSCE with credits in five subjects (including English Language), obtained in not more than 2 sittings
- Grade 5 or higher pass certificate in Music Practical and Theory from MUSON, ABRSM, Trinity (London), or another recognized music examining body
How to apply
Eligible students can apply through the MTN Foundation or MUSON official application channels, uploading all required academic and music qualification documents.
